04 an hour Arcosa Lightweight is searching for a Control Process Operator for our Frazier Park, CA plant.
As a Control Process Operator, you will support a positive safety culture while maintaining, monitoring and operating the rotary kiln manufacturing process within a 24/7 aggregate environment that is regulated by MSHA safety standards.

What You'll Do:
Comply with all industry safety rules, procedures and applicable government regulations including but not limited to ensuring a safe working environment for self and others Participate in plant safety initiatives, committees and activities Conduct mandatory MSHA pre-shift inspections on equipment and work areas in the plant Operate equipment including, but not limited to the kiln, coolers and finish screens Maintain accurate records of the kiln and their auxiliary equipment Monitor all equipment in the plant such as temperatures, pressures and amp gauges and interpret gauges, charts and instruments to make adjustments as necessary Responsible for shoveling and cleaning kiln deck and kiln areas Operate kilns by making necessary adjustments to the rate of fuel flow, speed, draft and other process variables Coordinate activities of operating personnel Collect and run process samples with various instruments and devices Work in cooperation with quality control personnel in the effort to produce quality products Account for equipment safety, production rates, emissions and other process variables as assigned Answer incoming calls in a professional manner, directing calls as needed Ability to make decisions, troubleshoot problems and assist the Foreman Perform other tasks as assigned What You'll Need:
2-years' experience in cement production and/or kiln processes, preferred High School Diploma or equivalent, related bachelor's degree, preferred Must be computer literate and have ability to learn new software including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Windows and Wonderware Applications Must have strong basic mathematics skills:
addition, subtraction, multiplication and division Prompt, regular and predictable attendance Ability to stand, stoop, bend, lift, walk, climb stairs, ladders and catwalks up to 60 feet as required and lift weights up to 60 pounds Ability to work in a varied outdoor environment (cold, hot, dry, dusty, rainy).
Ability to multi-task and make sound decisions in a very fast paced and demanding environment Compensation and benefits $21.
